Forever Stamps debuted with new USPS postage stamps issued in 2007.  The first forever stamp featured a Liberty Bell design and has a postage stamps value equivalent to the first class one ounce postage rate. Forever Postage Stamps are non-denominated postage with a stamp price effective to that of the US Postage Letter Rate of a one ounce letter.  Forever stamps can help consumers manage and deal with the post office's inevitable stamps price increases and will always be equal in value to the current first class mail 1–ounce postal rate as designated the US Postal Service.
